Seats
The majority of triple buggies start life as single pushchairs. However, some can convert to take an additional seat or carrycot using adapters (these are usually more common in tandem buggies). You'll also see that some models will allow you to add a ride-on board to older children who would like to walk, but need some help.
Check out the Joie Evalite Duo for an ideal, lightweight solution for urban streets. It's easy to move and has a large basket with lots of storage. It can accommodate twins starting at birth and can accommodate two car seats, or a carrycot with seat. The seats have to face towards the front and there is no space to store an item under the seat. You will require a sidepack.
If you're looking to travel off-road then the Mountain Buggy Duet is a good option. It's a side-byside model with the slimmest footprint of any double buggy available on the market. It's much easier to get through narrow doors on public transport, and to climb up and over kerbs. It also has a handbrake that is attached to the adjustable handlebar for extra security and safety.
The UPPAbaby Vista 2 double is a lightweight option that is suitable for twins or a toddler and baby. 3 wheeled pushchair can be reclining in multiple positions with UPF 50plus sunshades. The canopy can be adjusted to ensure that the sun does not touch your child's eyes. The Vista 2 can even be transformed into a triple with the addition of UPPAbaby's "PiggyBack board for older and mobile children.
The iCandy Orange double buggies are one of the most sought-after available. This is due to their superb comfort. It's a true all-terrain pushchair with a soft suspension to make smooth work of bumpy surfaces. It can be used in 30 seating configurations and comes with a built-in ride-on for older children who prefer walking plus a 'cinema seating' mode which raises the back seat to improve visibility.
Alternately, the phil&teds dots is a great single buggy that is available from day one that can then easily adapt to take 2 (or 3!) Different configurations are possible. This is particularly useful for parents who have children in your car. The frame can be fitted to a wedgie, which permits optimal lie-flat positioning. Car seat adapters that can be used with a wide range of brands.
Suspension
The quality of the suspension on a triple buggy is essential to how easy it will be for you and your child to push. It is essential to have a smooth ride, since babies feel every bump in the road. This is particularly true if you are driving on rough terrain, such as grass or roads that aren't paved. Certain models come with locking front tires to help maneuver and get over obstacles like curbs.
Certain models come with air-filled tyres which are ideal for all-terrain riding, but they can be prone punctures. Make sure you have a spare set of tyres inside the trunk. Other models use gel or foam tyres that are designed to withstand bumps and can be less prone to punctures, however, you may find them a little stiff and uncomfortable for your child's back if you decide to jog.

It was also very easy for me to navigate around corners and get up and down kerbs." Folding
A three-wheel double buggy could be folded neatly for storage. There are models that fold flat or stand up (as though they were in the shape of a pushchair) and those that are able to open up to reveal more umbrella-style folding with a hand-operated break. In general the more wheels a buggy has the more comfortable it will be to navigate over rough terrain. This is particularly true if your wheels are larger than typical size. You will have more stability and it will be less likely that you have to flip or tip your child.

It is an innovative three-wheel design that includes a sling for better manoeuvrability and stability.

It's also designed to be able to handle a little rough terrain making it a good option for family walks and all-terrain strolls.
Other models like the UPPAbaby Vista 2 offer plenty of space and the flexibility to carry twins or a toddler and a baby (it utilizes their 'PiggyBack' boards to allow this to be done). It's the most compact side-by-side double available. It also comes with impressive technology, including LED visibility lights that are placed on each side of its frame to increase safety in low-light situations.
For something a little different and unique, the Joie Evalite Duo is a light buggy that can hold twins from birth (it's open to the world and features a lie flat position). The clever frame can expand to accommodate an extra seat, but it weighs just 11kg. This makes it easy to lift and maneuver. It can be used with an infant car seat, a carrycot, or both. This lets you enjoy the best of both worlds.
